Below is a sample of projects funded by Creative Europe that were active in the period 2018-2022. The projects were selected for funding based on their relevance to EU priorities (green deal, digitalisation, economy for social justice, responsible global leadership, promoting equality and democracy). The projects deal with both intangible ('immaterial') and tangible ('material') culture and cover a wide range of topics from theatre, music and dance to museums, architecture and heritage.
Each field is presented by selected project titles, quotations from the summaries and, finally, a glossary of the most innovative concepts and terms. Although the different cultural fields often overlap (e.g. theatre with digital art or music with museums), they are treated separately:
