Anikó graduated from high school the same year as Hungary joined the EU. Her first diploma was in European public services and business organization at the Budapest College of Communication, with a specialization in business in EU studies. She followed this with a MA in international relations at the Corvinus University of Budapest, where she majored in diplomacy. She began her professional career as a project manager at Budapest Metropolitan University specializing in projects from adult education to infrastructure development, working with a diverse set of donors including Visegrad Fund, Interreg, and Erasmus. Anikó went on to lecture at Budapest Metropolitan University about project proposal writing and EU development policy. She joined MCC in Budapest in 2014 to establish the youth talent programme. She went on to establish 7 education centres in Hungary, Transylvania and Transcarpathia. In 2020 she became director of administration and procedures. As a girl from Lake Balaton, she loves swimming, and this summer swam the 5.2km across the lake. A wine enthusiast and expert (WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits), she can be found in her spare time visiting great Hungarian wineries. Her hope for MCC Brussels is that we build something special so students can thrive with great values in their intellectual life and in doing so give us great thinking for a better future.
