Andrea joins MCC Brussels with a passion for intellectual debate and a keen eye for analysis of global politics. From Italy, Andrea began his academic journey at Scuola Normale Pisa, where he studied history and civilization. He later specialized in geopolitics under Marco Giaconi, former director of Centro Militare di Studi Strategici di Roma, gathering insights from various hands-on experiences that took him well beyond his comfort zone.
Andrea has translated several books by American scholar Angelo Codevilla, focusing on the rise of the ruling class in France and the character of nations. He has also edited and published numerous documents based on his university thesis, which examined the transition of Italian writers and historians from Fascism to Communism—a topic often deemed taboo in academia. This work was eventually published as 'Una storia delle idee'.
In his spare time, Andrea enjoys strolling through city centres, appreciating art and the intricate details of urban life. He is also the author of 'Introduzione al Marocco', a book that delves into the historical connections between southern Europe and Morocco.
At MCC Brussels, Andrea looks forward to leveraging his expertise to contribute to events that address Europe's most pressing challenges.
